This Company seeks the addition of a call center supervisor to its team. The chosen candidate will be require to train, supervize and support a team of debt collectors to make sure clients successfully recover their portfolios. The individual is required to comply with company standards.

Key Responsibilities


1. Team Supervision and Portfolio Allocation. 

  • Should motivate and supervise a team of debt collectors.
  • Should make sure that daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met.
  • Chair daily team meetings and assign work.
  • Monitoring call center volume and call quality. 
  • Promote customer and company relationships. 
  • Revision of company performance both on the individual and team level. Where necessary, provide coaching and provide improvement plans. 
  • Initiating and teaching new entrants. 


2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring


  • Ensure that call quality, tone of employees, and negotiation tactics utilized comply with the scripts and internal policies of the company
  •  Maintain ethical debt collection practices acceptable by company policies. 
  • Escalate any complaints that may arise to management, both from customers and team members. 
  • Provide mentorship to team members in preparation for future leadership roles. 


3. Strategy Development & Process Improvement


  • Analyze all collection data and analyze the trends to spot areas that need improvement.
  • Present new strategies that better debt collection and boost recovery rates. 
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, both individual and team, to present during meetings. 

Education


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Credit Management, Finance, Business, or any related business field. 
  

 Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of practical experience in debt collection, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to operate Microsoft Packages, especially Excel, MIS tools, dialer systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal.
  • Should be an excellent negotiator and a good problem solver. 
  • Excellent leadership skills and team management.
