Job Overview
Fintech Group Uganda seeks the addition of a competent and results-oriented Business Development Executive to provide effective business solutions to its clients' ever-changing needs.
The major duties of the successful candidate are: selling business solutions, spotting new business opportunities, closing business sales, and building proper customer relationships in the pursuit and achievement of company goals. You will also be required to meet the sales target and customer expectations on an annual basis.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets by ensuring sales conversions on leads assigned are achieved.
- Retention of existing customers assigned on an annual basis
- Expand individual pipeline assigned by looking for new business opportunities and demonstrate having onboarded new customers annually.
- Retention of new customers through to the following year, and ensure customer visits are done as required
- Sales administration: Use of CRM when tracking sales activities and closed sales
- Follow through on technical issues raised by clients assigned to ensure faster resolution by the technical team to maintain customer satisfaction
- Ensure that SLA’s agreed upon are delivered timely manner by the technical teams
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients to generate new business in liaison with Business Development managers
- Develop intelligence on the market Landscape and dynamics
- Strategic engagements with customers at C- C-Level
- Customer relationship activities, i.e., proactive customer engagements
- Tenders and proposals submissions, and organize for meetings and demos
- Response to tenders, RFQ, RFIs, and general inquiries
- To manage the relationship with the existing customers
Educations, Skills, and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration/ Sales/Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Strong business acumen and experience in b2b sales presentation
- Strong Customer / Service orientation and technical know-how.
- Experience in sales growth and revenue generation in an IT environment
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales with relevant sales competencies.
- Presentation and reporting skills
- Negotiation and customer-facing skills
- Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion, conviction, and well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain & build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders)
