Job Details

Roles and Responsibilities

• To drive the KUWS vehicle for official duty and assignments.
• To carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and generate reports in line with the administrative guidelines.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained and minor repairs are carried out.
• Identifying and reporting technical/mechanical faults to the supervising officer.
• Maintaining and updating records of vehicle movement logbook daily/weekly/monthly, fuel consumed, repairs and servicing performed on the vehicle, and the spares/parts replaced are driven to stores.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure strict compliance with traffic regulations.
• To carry out duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• All interested applicants should hold a minimum of O level Certificate with a minimum of a credit in English.
• All ideal candidates should possess a valid driving permit class B.
• A certificate in defensive driving skills is an added advantage.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years driving experience, part of it probably in the Karamoja region.
